Mildred and the Midnight City
"Mildred and the Midnight City" is HookHitch Theatre's latest family-friendly show: a puppetry adventure following the intrepid journey of an unlikely hero; addressing issues of self worth, and the impact of technology in an ever-changing isolated world.
Mildred finds herself suddenly thrown out of her hum-drum computer screen routine and thrust into the heart of an arctic adventure. She has been sent on an impossible mission to The Midnight City: Juniper's Edge, but her journey drastically changes course, and with only a polar bear for company, Mildred realises her life will never be the same again.
Excerpts from HookHitch Theatre's past reviews; featuring reviews of HookHitch's last family-friendly show "This was the World and I was King" as this is most relevant to the content and style of "Mildred and the Midnight City".
